A Shropshire Artist – About Janice

Hi, I am a Shropshire artist creating handmade fused glass art, from small furniture-top items to large statement pieces. These creations make unusual, heartfelt and thoughtful gifts.

I find inspiration in the beautiful county of Shropshire, with its fertile farmland, impressive hills and prehistoric remains. Did you know we have an ancient stone circle and numerous hill forts? To the west we have the Welsh Marches, an area much fought over in the distant past and featuring historic Offa’s Dyke.

As I have developed, I find myself moving more to the abstract as I try to find new ways of using glass.

Ideal for special occasions and your special people, my handmade art pieces span many tastes. I also welcome commissions!
